![]() Going forward, Everytime SteamVR updates it will undo everything so you will have to repeat these steps again. Thanks to Steam User gb for the link and my voice Kasumi for testing out Oculus tracking (My BFF has Oculus tracking and succeeded at Step 3 and didn't have to reinstall anything) If Step 3 failed, you will have to reinstall OpenVR-InputEmulator-v1.3 for my playspace peeps, and my Oculus tracking peeps, you might have to reinstall your stuff. I cannot remember how I had set up Playspace Mover for my Index. If Step 3 succeeded, you should be good to go as normal Now when you Launch SteamVR it should show version 1.14.7 (1.14.15 is the one that broke it and as of 1.14.16 still broken) Is this the only way to get all the various poses WITHOUT full body tracking. Rename the SteamVr folder in here to SteamVRSucks and Paste the SteamVR folder you copied (the downloaded one) So I recently have been getting into VRCHAT more and I have already installed OVR advanced settings using the playspace mover binding and it seems to work well enough to pose my character in ways I want to IF the avatar has gogoloco. If Steam VR updates, you can always go back to this one and redo the replacement steps when SteamVR gets updatedĬopy the SteamVR folder you just downloaded and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and Paste, and overwriting existing files (if asked)Ĭopy the SteamVR folder you just downloaded and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common again. View and play photos and videos with your friends. Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. This worked for me when replacing SteamVR 1.14.15 and again after it updated to 1.14.16 and still screwed up Playspace / Oculus FBTĭownload the Old version of SteamVR from Įxtract the Zip, and save the folder. The next step is to create an account on the company that provides the playspace Mover.4 Once you have an account, you can start using your Playspace Mover in the following ways: View and play games with your friends. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. Fixing it in Blender is the only real solution. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I did use the '-fakeTrackers' and '-orbitTrackers' and both have failed. ![]() Trying to use playspace mover to fix it just makes it a different kind of broken instead. God for the love all thats holy i have been looking up how to use this without Pucks/Trackers with oculus. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. Normally it's due to the model's legs being too long compared to the rest of the body, adjusting your player height will visually fix it, but it'll be massively off compared to reality. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. ![]() "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD. ![]()
